Our Greatest Assets
Schools are built on their staff. Curricula, facilities, structures, technology – these things all matter. However, ultimately education is about people. There can be no great school without great teachers and Wittedrift High is very proud of its staff members, who are its greatest asset.
Not only do our staff members motivate children, make knowledge meaningful, inspire curiosity and enthuse pupils with a passion for learning, but they also routinely ‘go the extra mile’ to ensure each learner is making progress and thriving. This might mean: challenging and extending them to ensure they spend as much time as possible at the edge of their comfort zone; communicating proactively with parents to ensure we are working as a team around the learners; or taking the time to understand the learners’ perspective to ensure support or intervention in any area of school life is tailored to their needs.
