Our success lies not only in the excellent academic results annually achieved by our matriculants – yet we are very proud of the fact that over the past 25 years we have maintained a 99.7 % Grade 12 pass rate.  The academic quality of our learners is further reflected in the fact that the vast majority of them are, and have been, able to pursue whatever field of study they wish.  This encompasses engineering, teaching, medicine, auditing, architecture, veterinary science and many more.

During a survey in 2010 by The Sunday Times, our school was identified as a school of academic excellence.  This accomplishment was echoed by the accolade received in 2011. Die Burger identified us as the 7^th best performing school (Afrikaans) in Mathematics in the Western Cape using pre-determined criteria. Most recently, in 2020, Wittedrift High School was amongst the Top 6 academic schools in the entire Eden/Central Karoo district.

The further academic advantage our children enjoy is being taught in a fully dual-medium environment. This obviously contributes to the extension of study opportunities at all tertiary institutions, in South Africa.
